Fellow Ukrainians!
Today, we honor the feat of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred who gave their lives for the European choice of our people, democratic values, the opportunity to live with dignity and to build a better future.
This day is a tribute to self-sacrifice, heroism, courage and patriotism.
It is a symbol of unbrokenness and a source of inspiration for the Ukrainian warriors who are now defending Ukraine.
I call on the entire Ukrainian people to unite in this time of challenges for our country.
At the same time, I want to assure that the state's course towards the implementation of key requirements of the Ukrainian society remains unchanged.
We must also do our utmost to ensure that the tragic events of February 18-20, 2014 will never happen again. After all, human life is of the highest value.
I extend heartfelt condolences to the families of all those deceased on Maidan.
