Bridge across the river Chechva in Ivano-Frankivsk, which was destroyed by flood, will be reconstructed by the end of the year –President

During a working visit to the Ivano-Frankivsk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the meeting on reconstruction of bridges and bridge crossings which were destroyed by floods. The Head of State inspected the bridge across the river Chechva which was destroyed by flood in the Kalush district. This bridge connects the villages Dovge-Kaluske and Piylo.

According to the President, the reconstruction of this bridge will start after August 14.

"They found the money. Opportunities of UAH 25 million will be opened on August 14. New RSA Head assured that this bridge would be rebuilt by the end of the year. It is very fast," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

According to  newly appointed Ivano-Frankivsk RSA Denys Shmygal, the allocation of funds was agreed by the Governmental Committee. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is expected to make a final decision on this issue on August 14. When funding arrives, work will begin.
