He emphasized that Ukraine's integration into the Organization is one of the priorities for the President and the Head of his Office.
"The war cannot be a reason to suspend reforms," said Andriy Smyrnov.
The OECD representatives, for their part, thanked the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for the consistency and productivity shown by the Ukrainian side in joining the Working Group on Bribery and the implementation of the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention.
They also emphasized the importance of active and continuous involvement of Ukraine's representatives at the high political level. Such involvement of the Office of the President, the Cabinet of Ministers, and the Verkhovna Rada will guarantee Ukraine's progress towards membership in the Organization. The OECD representatives expressed hope that integration into the Organization in other areas of state policy would be as fast and effective as in the framework of the Working Group on Bribery.
