President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had phone conversations with Presidents of Lithuania and Poland Gitanas Nausėda and Andrzej Duda and Prime Ministers of Estonia and Canada Kaja Kallas and Justin Trudeau.
“We are now working very actively to prepare the inaugural Summit – the Peace Summit in Switzerland. It is important that as many states as possible, as many actors as possible who are interested in the full force of the UN Charter and international law, demonstrate their leadership at the Summit,” the Head of State noted in his evening address.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that he had personally invited the interlocutors to the event and thanked them for their support of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.
“Such peace and the true restoration of tranquility in international relations are possible only if the world majority joins in the establishment of peace and forces Russia into peace, forces it to adhere to the basic rules of normal coexistence of nations,” the President emphasized.
The Head of State thanked every leader who encourages others to attend the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland. He also noted that tomorrow and in the coming weeks work with countries and leaders would continue to ensure that international law is backed by international solidarity.
During the phone conversations, Volodymyr Zelenskyy also informed the leaders about the situation on the frontline and the needs of our country in bolstering air defense. He discussed the signing of bilateral security agreements with President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda and Prime Minister of Estonia Kaja Kallas.
