Ukrainian House was opened in Washington with the participation of Volodymyr and Olena Zelenskyy

During a working visit to the United States, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska took part in the opening of the Ukrainian House in Washington.

Addressing the leaders of the Ukrainian community in the United States, the Head of State noted that thanks to the Ukrainians living in this country, the territory of our state extends all the way to the United States.

"I want to congratulate you on the opening of the Ukrainian House. Our new Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova was involved in the implementation of this project. I congratulate her on this event," the President said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the opening of the Ukrainian House a significant end to the visit of the President of Ukraine to Washington.

He noted the high level of preparation for the current visit, which was filled with many important meetings, including with President Joseph Biden, US Secretary of Defense and Secretary of Energy.

The President stressed the importance of the United States' support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as reforms in our country. The strategic partnership between the two countries will be further bolstered, and the Ukrainian community in the United States will play a significant role in this process.
