President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the ceremony of laying flowers to the monuments to Taras Shevchenko and Mykhailo Hrushevsky on the occasion of the Day of Unity of Ukraine.
The Head of State paid tribute to the Great Kobzar in the Taras Shevchenko Park in Kyiv.
After that, the President laid a bouquet of flowers to the monument to Mykhailo Hrushevsky near the Teacher's House.
Together with the President, the ceremony was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk and Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk.
