On November 21, on the occasion of the Day of Dignity and Freedom, the memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred was honored on behalf of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In particular, a basket of flowers was put near the memorial cross at the site of the death of Maidan activists on the Alley of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred in Kyiv.
"During the 29 years of Ukraine's independence, a number of revolutions have taken place: Ukrainians have defended the European vector of development, protected democratic values, human rights, freedoms, as well as a decent standard of living and work for citizens. A nation that truly values freedom and dignity is invincible. We must summarize and rethink the moral experience of different generations of Ukrainians who fought for democratic values, rights and freedoms," the President said.
