The Presidential Fund for Education, Science and Sports allocated 200 million hryvnias for the completion of construction of the medical-diagnostic complex of the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdyt", as stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“Today, the Verkhovna Rada supported the bill, which I submitted as an urgent one, to allocate UAH 200 million from the Presidential Fund for the completion of the Okhmatdyt hospital. I am grateful to all the people's deputies for this really important decision. UAH 200 million is the amount that will allow to accelerate the completion of Okhmatdyt. We will be able to finish construction already in the spring,” the Head of State said, commenting on the adoption of the relevant law by the Parliament.
The President also noted that the state budget for 2020 provided 500 million UAH for Okhmatdyt that can be used to purchase equipment.
"Next year we will be able to open a new building of the main children's hospital of the country," the President summed up.
