On July 17, at the invitation of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Takashi Kurai, a meeting of Advisor to the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov with representatives of Japanese business took place.
Mykhailo Fedorov presented a digital plan of action to foreign visitors.
"The development of the digital economy is one of the priorities of the President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Unfortunately, we are uncompetitive and ineffective in today's world, that is why only digitization of the industries can help us to leap and achieve real economic growth. Together with the profile business and the public, we have set clear goals by 2024", Advisor to the President of Ukraine said.
"E-services, improving of public registries, the project "e-residence" should make doing business easy and transparent in Ukraine. We are very interested in attracting investment and advanced innovation of Japan to develop joint projects in the field of things, industry 4.0, smart cities, e-identification, development of R & D centers and others in the Internet," Mykhailo Fedorov added.
Representatives of Japanese business focused on problematic business issues in Ukraine during the meeting, such as the complexity of interacting with Tax and Migration Services, hiring employees, and other key interests of Japanese business (in particular, the launch of R & D centers and various innovation projects).
All these proposals will be handled jointly with the Japanese Embassy in Ukraine in order to attract a trusted and innovative digital partner.
