President's wife

In her speech, the President's wife compared the bombing of Ukraine by the Russian aggressor to the bombing of Great Britain by the Nazis during World War II.

A presentation of the Olena Zelenska Foundation took place in London. The foundation deals with the most acute problems in Ukraine. Its activities are focused on three areas: assistance in rebuilding Ukrainian hospitals and ensuring access to medicine for every person, restoration of the educational process, overcoming humanitarian problems.

During her visit to Great Britain, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska took part in the Conference on Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict (PSVI Conference).

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska gave an interview in Kyiv to journalists of BBC, British television and radio broadcasting corporation. She spoke about the mood of Ukrainians during the period of massive power outages caused by Russian shelling of critical infrastructure.

The campaign is going on in 60 cities and communities throughout Ukraine under the "Sensitivity Overcomes Violence" slogan.

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska supported the launch of the Ukrainian space on Google Arts & Culture - an online platform that allows you to access images of works of art stored in museums around the world.

As part of the school nutrition reform initiated by First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, a series of trainings is ongoing for educators-cooks of vocational education institutions who will pass on their knowledge to cooks of canteens in schools and preschool institutions.

The President's wife thanked the interlocutors for the significant help from their countries to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia. Important support for millions of forced temporary migrants from Ukraine who found refuge in EU countries was separately noted.

Olena Zelenska proposed joint projects to the participants within the Kyiv Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen.

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska met with WHO Regional Director for Europe Hans Kluge. The parties discussed, in particular, the course of creation of the National Program of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Ukraine, which was initiated by the President's wife.
