Kachanivka National Historical and Cultural Reserve is included in the list of 100 objects that will be reconstructed in the framework of the National Program "Great Construction".
The President visited the reserve during a working trip to the Chernihiv region.
Kachanivka reserve is the only estate in Ukraine that has preserved the integrity of the ensemble's planning decision, its stylistic unity. The main palace of the estate, built in the style of neoclassicism, preserves the authentic interior. However, the building and the estate as a whole need to be reconstructed, so the director general of the reserve Volodymyr Burenko applied for the inclusion of the historical monument in the reconstruction program, "to preserve this pearl for future generations, to make it more attractive". All the necessary design and estimate documentation was developed.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy supported this and noted that the reserve has already been included in the program.
"So, everything necessary will be done," he said.
The program of development of the reserve was presented to the President. According to the management, "Kachanivka" has good prospects, as it is one of the most attractive tourist "magnets" of the Chernihiv region, interesting for its history.
