President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that within a maximum of one and a half months, another 28 new apartments will be handed over to the citizens affected by the explosion in an apartment building in Kyiv.
"I want to say that we found all 40 apartments. They are all in Kyiv - not in the region. These are new apartments. 12 apartments are ready - they are completed. Within a maximum of one and a half months, we will allocate another 28 apartments to the families," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on the air of the Right to Power program during a TV broadcast from the Ivano-Frankivsk region, where the President is on an urgent working trip.
The President stressed that the state budget will not spend money on the purchase of apartments. The President's Office held talks with Kyiv developers, as a result of which all 40 apartments that people will receive in the near future were found.
"We talked to developers. The President's Office found developers who helped us," the Head of State said.
Today, Volodymyr Zelenskyy handed over certificates for the first 12 apartments to the victims of the explosion in Kyiv.
