The Ukrainian and American parties agreed that it would be more convenient for President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Joseph Biden to meet on August 31. This was announced by Press Secretary of the President of Ukraine Serhiy Nykyforov at a briefing at the President’s Office on Friday.
"You already know that the format of Volodymyr Zelenskyy's meeting with Joseph Biden has changed a bit. A vis-a-vis meeting was added. And, accordingly, the parties decided that it would be more convenient to meet on August 31. We gladly agreed to this, because in this way the President of Ukraine will be able to fully take part in the commemorative events dedicated to the anniversary of the Ilovaisk tragedy on August 29," he said.
Serhiy Nykyforov also noted that the United States had changed its representative at the Crimea Platform summit to be held in Kyiv on August 23, and this would be officially announced by the American party.
