In the framework of the Ukraine-Balkans Summit in Athens, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović.
The Head of State thanked for humanitarian, military and political support from Montenegro during the full-scale Russian aggression.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Jakov Milatović for Montenegro's support for Ukraine on its path to NATO and for the country's accession to the Joint Declaration on security guarantees adopted at the NATO Summit in Vilnius by the G7 leaders.
The parties discussed Montenegro's support for the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and further steps to prepare for the Global Peace Summit.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Jakov Milatović for his future online participation in the third summit of the Crimea Platform on August 23 this year.
The Presidents discussed the expansion of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Montenegro.
The leaders also paid special attention to the issue of support for the forced migrants from Ukraine in Montenegro.
