President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of Argentina Javier Milei at Ukraine House in Davos.
The Ukrainian President thanked Argentina for its continued support of Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. The leaders talked about coordinating efforts with partners to bring about a just and lasting peace. Ukraine greatly values Argentina's full understanding and willingness to help.
“You are a very welcome guest in Ukraine. I invite you to meet the Ukrainian people, they love you very much. I want you to see with your own eyes how Ukrainians are fighting and what they are going through during this war. And I really want Ukrainians to feel how much you respect them,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The leaders exchanged views on recent international developments and the progress of cooperation with the United States after the inauguration of President Donald Trump.
The Ukrainian leader noted Argentina's success in implementing economic reforms, restoring economic potential, reducing poverty and inflation, and liberalizing foreign trade.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Javier Milei also discussed trade and economic cooperation, and agreed on future contacts at the highest level.
