Volodymyr Zelenskyy in California meets with founders of startups, employees of large Silicon Valley-based companies from Ukraine

As part of his visit to the United States of America, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Ukrainian founders of startups and Ukrainians holding senior positions in large technology companies in Silicon Valley.

The head of state spoke about his fruitful visit to the United States, top level meetings and the presentation of the Transformation Plan of Ukraine.

"I see that there is interest. Now everyone wants to know the details. And we need people like you. I am very glad that you are successful in the United States. I would like you to have success in Ukraine as well," he said, addressing the meeting participants.

Zelenskyy said that digitalization is taking place in Ukraine, and everyone can see it, even outside our country.

In his opinion, today the state is doing a lot of things so that it was interesting, convenient and profitable for startup founders to work in Ukraine. In particular, a law on the Diia City special legal framework for those who work in the IT industry has been passed.

"We are ready to create conditions and provide help. We are creating digital infrastructure, introducing digital residency, and in general, we keep ahead of other countries in many areas where digital technologies are introduced," the head of state said.
