President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with U.S. Senators Richard Blumenthal, Lindsey Graham and Elizabeth Warren, who are on a visit to Ukraine.
The Head of State commended the bicameral and bipartisan support for Ukraine in the U.S. Congress and expressed special gratitude to the President of the United States and the entire American people for their leadership in defense and financial assistance to our country.
"We are sincerely grateful to the President of the United States, the Congress, and the entire American people for the assistance provided to us," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
He briefed the interlocutors on the situation at the front and emphasized the priority of further bolstering Ukraine's defense capabilities.
The importance of starting the process of transferring F-16 jets to Ukraine, training pilots and further support from the United States in this regard was noted.
