Volodymyr Zelenskyy to meet with Vladimir Putin after the negotiations in the Normandy format

On December 9, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will hold a bilateral meeting with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin after the negotiations of the Normandy Four leaders, as stated by the participant of the Ukrainian delegation in Paris, Deputy Head of the President's Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko.

“At first, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, and then with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Then, there will be a meeting of four leaders in the Normandy format. After that, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will hold a bilateral meeting with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin,” Kyrylo Tymoshenko told media representatives in Paris.

According to him, the discussion of the gas issue is possible during the talks.

“The delegation includes Mr. Orzhel (Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine - ed.) and Mr. Vitrenko (Executive Director of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Yuriy Vitrenko ed.). If necessary, they will participate in the discussion of gas and other issues related to them,” the Deputy Head of the President's Office said.

Kyrylo Tymoshenko also said that the duration of the negotiations was unknown.
