President Volodymyr Zelenskyy finished the first day of participation in the COP 26 UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow communicating with the presidents and prime ministers of a number of countries during the official reception on behalf of the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The heads of state and government spoke about important aspects of bilateral cooperation between the countries, as well as global and regional challenges related to climate change, the COVID-19 pandemic, the energy crisis and the security situation in Europe, including eastern Ukraine, and the world.
During the conversation with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson, important issues of bilateral cooperation, military-defense cooperation, European and world agenda were raised.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also spoke with Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett, Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Löfven, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel, Chancellor of Austria Alexander Schallenberg and President of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embaló.
