President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the opening of the mine clearance center of the State Emergency Service in Mariupol.
In addition to modern equipment, robots have been purchased for the Center to help people in the mine clearance to save lives. Currently, 7 thousand square kilometers are mined on the territory of Donbas controlled by Ukraine.
"There is war now, and we all want it to end. We understand that you face a very serious mission, a serious responsibility. We will definitely return our territories, because Ukraine is united. Mine clearance will be continued. Thousands of hectares are waiting for you. I wish you all success, stay safe," the President said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also examined the vehicles of the fire-fighting service of Mariupol.
In the Information Management Hall, the President took part in the live broadcast from the village of Berdianske, where the employees of the State Emergency Service restore houses damaged by artillery shelling. The Head of State thanked the rescuers for their work.
“I saw the main thing - a special attitude towards people in the Mine Clearance Center. This is not just high-quality technical conditions, but also living conditions,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
