President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Kruty Heroes Lviv Lyceum for Advanced Military and Physical Training and spoke with students and teachers.
"Thank you for educating confident and strong future defenders of Ukraine," the Head of State said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also toured the classrooms and one of the dormitory rooms where students reside.
Each year, the lyceum educates nearly 450 students, including children of combat veterans, fallen and missing warriors, internally displaced children, and those affected by the war. In addition to the general education curriculum, students receive basic military leadership training, advanced firearms and drill training, and study Ukrainian Armed Forces statutes, topography, and engineering-sapper skills. They also undergo pre-medical training and basic tactical medicine courses.
