Ukraine and Slovakia share a common vision of Europe's energy security and the threats posed by the Nord Stream 2 project. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a statement for the media after a meeting with President of the Slovak Republic Zuzana Čaputová in Bratislava.
"It is gratifying that we have a common vision of Europe's energy security and agree that projects such as the Nord Stream 2 pose serious future risks to the EU and its unity," the Ukrainian President said.
The President also stressed that Ukraine appreciates and thanks Slovakia for its key role in ensuring reverse gas supplies to our country.
