President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau.
The President expressed condolences over the loss of Canadian citizens in the crash of a Ukrainian plane in the Iranian city of Tehran.
"This is a terrible tragedy and our shared pain," the President stressed.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy assured Justin Trudeau that Ukraine was interested in a transparent and objective investigation of the tragedy and finding the truth.
The Prime Minister of Canada, in his turn, expressed condolences to Volodymyr Zelenskyy over the loss of Ukrainian citizens in the air crash and stressed that Ukraine could count on any assistance from Canada in holding the investigation.
