President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that today, having a pro-Ukrainian position means sharing democratic European values and being pro-Russian means supporting military aggression and terrorism. The Head of State stated this at a meeting with media representatives after the negotiations with President of Slovakia Zuzana Čaputova in Bratislava.
"What does it mean to be pro-Ukrainian? It is to be pro-European. You are in Europe today. You are an integral part of a calm, civilized Europe. What are pro-Russian views? The Russians are aggressors who came to a foreign land, they attacked us, killed, and continue to kill, raped, and tortured people. How can one adhere to such views? Every person has a choice. But if someone wants to check, to see Russia on the borders of their state, how much does this check cost?" Zelenskyy said, answering journalists' questions.
The President of Ukraine offered people who share the so-called pro-Russian views to imagine the detonation of a hydroelectric power plant on the territory of their state or the seizure and threat of the blowing up of a nuclear power plant, and the disconnection of a third of the country's electricity generation.
"Does anyone like this "Russian roulette"? What is a pro-Russian position? Today, it is a pro-terrorist position. And this is wrong," he is convinced.
Zelenskyy also drew attention to the fact that he did not see people from the United States or European countries moving to live in Russia or switching from European cars to Soviet-style cars.
