Volodymyr Zelenskyy Had a Phone Call with Mark Rutte

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

The Head of State spoke about the situation on the battlefield in general and in certain areas of the Donetsk region, the course of the operation in the Kursk region and the results of Ukraine's use of long-range capabilities provided by the allies.

The President emphasized the importance of uninterrupted supplies of 155 mm caliber shells, weapons, and military equipment from announced support packages to ensure timely equipping of combat brigades.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Mark Rutte agreed to intensify cooperation with partners to implement the decisions of the NATO Washington Summit concerning air defense systems and additional strengthening of Ukraine's defenses against Russian air terror in winter.

The President separately thanked the NATO Secretary General for hosting the Ukraine – NATO Council meeting at the level of foreign ministers in Brussels, for all signals of continued military support for Ukraine, and for a clear understanding of the need to invest in Ukraine’s defense industry. The President also stressed the importance of inviting Ukraine to NATO.
