Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada, people's deputies and government representatives on important bills to implement the President's program

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a traditional meeting with the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, heads of parliamentary committees and other people’s deputies, as well as with representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers to discuss bills aimed to implement the President's election program. In particular, during the plenary week, the people's deputies will consider the latest bill, which will legalize the electronic passport in the Diia app. By the way, Ukraine is one of the first countries in the world to introduce a digital passport in a smartphone.

"We will have the most complete list of life situations when Ukrainians will be able to use a digital passport without a paper or plastic analogue. We strive for full digitization of documents and services, we have to create a state in a smartphone," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

MPs will also consider bills on the protection of debtors from collectors, reform of the Security Service of Ukraine and European integration initiatives. The parties also discussed the need to develop a package of bills on the introduction of a funded pension system and the launch of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
