Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Zolote

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Zolote in the Luhansk region.

The Head of State met with local residents and military personnel on the frontline.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy asked about the living conditions on the line of delimitation, the social needs of civilians and the military. One of the topics of discussion was the possible separation of troops.

He also met with a group of armed men who had settled in a private home on the outskirts of Zolote.

“Some conversations were emotional. However, I am willing to continue to speak and seek mutual understanding. But one cannot end the war with talks. It was important for me to hear Ukrainians who are striving for peace. This is the main thing for me. We must find ways and work to end the war. But not at any cost - I put emphasis on that,” the Head of State said.

"There will be no capitulation. I say this as President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief. I am sure that we will cope with everything and Ukraine will be united again,” he added.
