Volodymyr Zelenskyy supports the privatization of objects of the State Management of Affairs

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy supports the privatization of objects of the State Management of Affairs. However, it is necessary to take into account the specific nature of each object in the privatization process.

"I invite you any day to come and see a presentation of the transfer of any property for privatization owned by the State Management of Affairs," the Head of State said, answering journalists' questions during a press marathon in Kyiv.

The President noted that some of the objects are impossible to privatize, because of investigation of criminal cases and judicial proceedings related to them.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed that an independent group is engaged in the privatization of the objects of the State Management of Affairs, and a register of all objects with information about their financial status and the number of employees has already been prepared.

"We will be one of the first to submit a list of these enterprises (for privatization. –Ed.)," the Head of State emphasized.

According to him, there are three queues of transfer of the objects of the State Management of Affairs to private property. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account the specifics of one or another object in the process of privatization .

"For example, we will never transfer "Artek" in Pushcha-Voditsa (to private property. - Ed.) because I want this brand to stay in Ukraine. If we transfer "Artek" to private property in Pushcha-Voditsa we will transfer the brand to a legal entity, and it will stay exactly in the occupied part, in the Crimea. So, there are some difficulties," the Head of State explained.

The President reminded that the Verkhovna Rada supported the beginning of large-scale privatization of state property.

Volodymyr Zelensky also supports the position that the financing of the Presidential Office will not increase next year.
