Volodymyr Zelenskyy observed the reconstruction of houses in Irpin and Buzova damaged as a result of full-scale Russian aggression

During a working trip to Kyiv region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reviewed the progress of the comprehensive reconstruction of the private sector and apartment buildings in the city of Irpin and the village of Buzova.

The Head of State was joined at the construction sites by Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine - Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Oleksiy Kuleba, Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the Irpin Territorial Community Oleksandr Markushyn and Head of the Bucha District State Administration Danylo Mavlyanov.

In Irpin, Volodymyr Zelenskyy inspected the district, which is one of the most affected by the full-scale Russian aggression.

As Oleksandr Kubrakov told the President, active work is underway here to build private houses, restore high-rise buildings and infrastructure, and overhaul the road and bridge between Irpin and Hostomel.

Ruslan Kravchenko noted that new houses are currently being designed to replace those that had to be demolished due to significant damage as a result of the hostilities.

The restoration work is financed by the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression, United24 with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM Ukraine) and UNICEF.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine stated that thanks to the funding of projects from several sources, it is now possible to carry out various works, and after their completion the area will have a modern look.

In the village of Buzova, Volodymyr Zelenskyy reviewed the progress of restoration work in apartment buildings on Tsentralna Street.

According to Oleksandr Kubrakov, one house has been fully restored and another will be ready by the end of the year. Work has been done to dismantle and arrange the ceilings, roof, window units, and restore the electricity and water supply. The construction of another house has begun.
