On the Day of the Ground Forces of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the 169th training center “Desna” of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The President was accompanied by Head of the Office of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, Minister of Defense Andriy Taran, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak.
Head of the training center Viktor Nikoliuk showed the structure of the center and the system of military training to the Head of State.
"The ground forces are doing a lot to protect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. Therefore, high-quality and modern training conditions for the Ukrainian military are extremely important," the President said.
