Volodymyr Zelenskyy Reviewed Restoration of a Destroyed Apartment Building in Zaporizhzhia

During a working visit to the Zaporizhzhia region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reviewed the restoration of an apartment building that was destroyed in October 2022.

Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov informed the President that the restoration work is expected to be completed next month. The destroyed support structures and 24 apartments in the building have already been restored and repaired.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also spoke with the residents of the building and inspected the shelter that was set up for the neighborhood's residents during the reconstruction. The shelter is fully equipped for prolonged stays.

The 15-entrance apartment building was struck by a Russian missile on October 6, 2022. The attack resulted in the deaths of 14 people and injured another 40.

According to Ivan Fedorov, 11 more buildings are currently being restored in Zaporizhzhia, with UAH 1.5 billion allocated for this.

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, more than 14,000 infrastructure facilities in the Zaporizhzhia region have been destroyed.

Some people have already received "eRecovery" certificates: 764 for damaged property and 107 for destroyed property.
