Volodymyr Zelenskyy Received the American Academy of Achievement Award

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has received the annual award of the American Academy of Achievement – The Golden Plate Award. The ceremony was held in New York.

The award was presented to the Head of State by U.S. General David Petraeus.

For 60 years, this award has been presented to state officials, scientists, artists, writers, entrepreneurs and public leaders in recognition of their contribution to the development of humanity.

“I thank you for this honor. And I want you to know that in everything we have achieved so far, and most importantly – everything we can still achieve, our people and our Ukrainian bravery – you have become a part of it – your help, your choices, your determination will not let freedom be lost,” the President said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also emphasized that the next few months will be decisive in this war. Ukraine has a Plan of Victory, and the Head of State will present this Plan to the United States, first of all to Joseph Biden, the Congress and both presidential candidates – Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

“And I believe this must be our shared achievement – victory for freedom, with no compromises at freedom’s expense,” he added.

The Golden Plate Award has also been presented to U.S. Presidents Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama, as well as Nobel and Pulitzer Prize winners.
