During a working trip to the Chernivtsi region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the newly built regional perinatal center and met with a woman who was the first to give birth in this medical institution.
The Head of State congratulated the couple - Tetiana and Andriy Lukenych - on the delivery of a child.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented flowers and a gift to the woman - a child safety seat for safe transportation of the newborn.
"I congratulate you, you delivered a child in wonderful conditions. The main thing is for the baby to be healthy," the President said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also got himself acquainted with the work of the departments of anesthesiology and neonatal intensive care.
