Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Discussed Strengthening of Ukraine-U.S. Cooperation

During his visit to the United States, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mike Johnson.

The Head of State thanked the Congress and Mike Johnson for supporting the Ukrainian people in their fight against full-scale Russian aggression.

During the meeting, the parties discussed further joint steps to strengthen Ukraine-U.S. cooperation, expectations for the NATO Summit, and Ukraine's progress in implementing reforms on its path to European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

The President spoke in detail about the situation on the frontline, the urgent needs of Ukrainian warriors, and the consequences of the recent massive Russian attacks on civilian objects in Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that further budgetary support from the United States is important for the economic stability of our country and emphasized the transparent use of aid.
