As part of his participation in the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held talks with President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
The leaders of the two countries noted the intensification of the Ukrainian-Egyptian political dialogue and outlined promising directions for the further development of bilateral cooperation.
During the conversation, they confirmed willingness to expand trade, economic and investment cooperation, including the implementation of specific bilateral economic projects and promotion of the companies of the two countries in each other's markets.
“We need to talk about tourism development,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
In addition, the Presidents discussed the interaction between Ukraine and Egypt in the framework of international organizations and the current issues of the international agenda.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited his Egyptian counterpart to visit Ukraine.
“No Egyptian President has ever come to Ukraine. We will be glad to welcome your delegation,” the Head of State said.
The parties also discussed cooperation in the educational field.
