President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with President of France Emmanuel Macron.

The parties discussed the implementation of previous defense agreements and agreed on new ones.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked for the transfer of a large batch of armored vehicles, including much-needed medevac transport, additional light tanks, and air defense systems.

The Presidents of Ukraine and France discussed in detail the current situation at the front and the course of events inside Russia.

"After Prigozhin's actions, the whole world saw that Russia has no room for maneuvers on the battlefield. On the contrary, a window of opportunity is opening for us. We need to act decisively both militarily and politically. Therefore, it is very important for the Summit in Vilnius to be effective," the Head of State emphasized.

The parties discussed expectations from the Vilnius Summit and the provision of security guarantees to Ukraine on its way to the Alliance.

The President of Ukraine also warned Emmanuel Macron about the preparation of dangerous provocations at the Zaporizhzhia NPP by the Russian occupation troops.

The two leaders agreed to work with the IAEA to keep the situation at the plant under close control.
