President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Anna Bjerde, Managing Director of Operations at the World Bank.
The Head of State thanked the World Bank for all the support provided to Ukraine. In particular, for the consolidation of financial assistance and support programs.
“The World Bank and your team have been helping us since the very beginning of the Russian invasion, and we truly value our relationship,” the President said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine looks forward to maintaining such cooperation both now and in the post-war period, with a focus on the country's reconstruction.
The Head of State stressed the importance of establishing a Financial Intermediary Fund (FIF) to enable the G7 countries to provide additional financial support to Ukraine and expressed hope for the swift completion of all formal procedures.
