During their working visit to the United States, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska met with Governor and First Lady of Utah Spencer and Abby Cox.
The Head of State thanked for the humanitarian assistance provided by Utah organizations and noted that it is important for him to personally express gratitude to all Americans, Governors and Senators for their support.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke in detail about his visit to the United States, in particular about his meetings in Congress, at the White House, and participation in the events of the NATO Anniversary Summit.
"It was a very successful Summit. It was not only about weapons, air defense, and Ukrainian children, but also about reconstruction and housing. And we are grateful to you for your humanitarian support, especially with housing. We had a good delegation from Utah in Ukraine, and we invite you to visit us again," the President said.
The Head of State spoke about successful examples of partner states' patronage of Ukrainian regions and suggested establishing regional ties between Ukrainian regions and the US states.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the challenges Ukraine faces in preparing for the school year and expressed the need for bomb shelters in educational institutions and hospitals.
Olena Zelenska added that the fourth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen would be held in Kyiv in autumn and invited the First Lady of Utah to attend.
