President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer.
The Head of State informed that today Russia had used more than 90 missiles and nearly 100 drones against Ukraine's civilian infrastructure.
The President thanked the United Kingdom for its support, in particular for its willingness to allocate a minimum of GBP 3 billion annually for Ukraine's needs.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Keir Starmer discussed continued defense cooperation and agreed to maintain close interaction with European leaders regarding steps aimed at ensuring the strongest possible position for Ukraine in the face of any developments.
The Head of State emphasized the need for Ukraine to receive an invitation to NATO and to enhance its long-range capabilities.
The parties also discussed Ukraine's possible participation in the Joint Expeditionary Force Leaders' Summit that will take place in Tallinn next month at the invitation of Estonia. This year, Ukraine was the only country to attend the JEF Joint Protector 2024 Exercise as an observer. The President noted that our country seeks to deepen cooperation with this partnership.
In addition, the leaders agreed to expedite the preparation of the agreement on a 100-year partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
