President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is on a working visit to Turkey, awarded President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise of the I degree.
According to Decree of the President of Ukraine № 450/2020 "On awarding R. Erdogan the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise", the President of Turkey was awarded for outstanding personal contribution to strengthening Ukrainian-Turkish interstate cooperation, support for independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan thanked the President of Ukraine for the award.
"I thank you personally and on behalf of my people for a wonderful gesture in the form of presenting me a state award," the President of Turkey said.
