During a working trip to the Rivne region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy got himself acquainted with the construction of a universal sports hall of the Regional Specialized Children's and Youth School of the Olympic Reserve on the territory of Shpaniv village council.
“The complex will be beautiful. By the end of 2021, as we agreed with the head of the regional state administration, the first stage, namely the whole complex, will be completed. This is a lot of money for the state - about half a billion hryvnias, but for the Rivne region, I think it is very important," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a conversation with the media after the construction inspection.
"We have a separate program that will be implemented next year - the construction of swimming pools. If the parliament supports this program, we will be able to start some things in parallel so that there is no long-term construction. Everything must be done to build in parallel," the Head of State noted.
Separately, the President noted that a total of 16 facilities, 12 public roads of local significance and seven ER departments are being built and reconstructed in the region this year in the framework of the National Program “Great Construction”. Currently, work has been completed in four schools, three kindergartens and four sports facilities.
