President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki, who is on a visit to our country, visited one of the Kyiv hospitals where wounded Ukrainian defenders are undergoing treatment.
The Head of State and the Prime Minister of Poland visited the intensive care and trauma units, as well as the physical and medical rehabilitation rooms. Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Mateusz Morawiecki talked to the defenders and wished them a speedy recovery.
The President presented state awards to servicemen and law enforcement officers for courage and selflessness displayed in the course of protection of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
"Thank you for your service, for protecting and preserving our state! I wish you a speedy recovery," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The Head of State also awarded the hospital's medical staff for their significant contribution to the provision of medical care and saving lives during martial law, selfless performance of their professional duty.
