President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

The Head of State spoke about yesterday's meeting with the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, one of the key issues of which was Türkiye's role in providing security guarantees. In this process, Ukraine needs a broad representation: European countries, including the United Kingdom and Türkiye, as well as the United States.

Mark Rutte shared details of his meeting with Keith Kellogg, the Special Envoy of the President of the United States for Ukraine and Russia. The messages he delivered show a shared vision that the war should end with a guaranteed peace, not a temporary ceasefire.

The President of Ukraine emphasized that the Ukrainian people must be sure that Russia will not attack again in a few months or years.

Apart from that, they discussed potential peace talks, which should include not only Ukraine but also Europe. At the same time, security guarantees, plans to preserve the army and release all prisoners must be clearly outlined before they begin.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Mark Rutte coordinated their positions and future contacts with the allies.

The Head of State thanked the NATO Secretary General for his support, assistance and efforts to defend Ukraine's interests.
