President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for Lithuania’s unwavering support for Ukraine.
One of the main topics of discussion was coordination among key allies. The Ukrainian President emphasized that Europe must be a full participant in any negotiations regarding the end of the war, as this is crucial for the security of both Ukraine and the entire continent.
The President of Ukraine also briefed Gitanas Nausėda on his recent discussions with U.S. President Donald Trump and members of his administration, as well as his upcoming meetings.
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, it is extremely important for Ukraine that the United States be among the countries that will provide security guarantees to Ukrainians. After all, a ceasefire without reliable guarantees for the future will not be able to ensure a just and lasting peace.
