During a working trip to the Kherson region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy went to the village of Sadove to see for himself how the postmen and the delivery service of the new project "Mobile Post Office" work. This project includes the provision of all postal services in small villages and hamlets with a population of up to 2 thousand people. In fact, these are Ukrposhta cars equipped with everything necessary for the delivery of goods at any time of the year, which replace full-fledged post offices. They are needed so that the inhabitants of even the most remote and smallest settlements of Ukraine receive all the postal, logistical and financial services they need.
The Head of State personally brought the parcels and pensions that the peasants were waiting for.
"Delivery will always work, and the President will deliver only today," Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a joke.
He asked if the peasants liked the work of Ukrposhta's mobile offices, how long they have been waiting for the order and what they ordered.
"I liked that they brought medicine straight home. I’ve been waiting for two days. The price is lower than in the district center," a local resident said.
Residents of Sadove admitted that they did not expect to receive social benefits and their orders from the Head of State, so they were pleasantly surprised.
