During a working trip to the Luhansk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy inspected the Severodonetsk-Stanytsia Luhanska road. The Head of State got himself acquainted with the course of repair works on one of the sections of the road - T-13-06 Severodonetsk - Novoaidar with a length of 37 km. Repair works are taking place in the framework of the Great Construction program.
The President was informed that as of today, contractors are milling the pavement, making the base layer of the pavement from organo-mineral mixture and the bottom layer from asphalt concrete. Construction was completed by 28%.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the road Severodonetsk - Stanytsia Luhanska is one of the priorities for the state.
"It is very important for people living in Ukraine: in our part and in the temporarily occupied one. So that they can see that starting from the bridge in Stanytsia Luhanska up to Severodonetsk, a beautiful, high-quality road will be built this year,” the President emphasized.
The total length of the route from Severodonetsk to Stanytsia Luhanska, which consists of four sections, is 128 km. 125.5 km of it are roads of national importance. A complete upgrade of the route is planned by the end of 2020.
