Volodymyr Zelenskyy: Digital solutions are a priority for Ukraine's development

During his official visit to France, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Station F startup incubator in Paris.

With nearly 1,000 projects from 50 countries worldwide, Station F is Europe's largest startup complex.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke with members of Ukrainian startups and IT industry representatives. The Head of State also got acquainted with the presentation of the French project “La French Tech”.

The President emphasized that digital solutions were a priority for Ukraine's development.

"Last year, the share of the IT industry in the Ukrainian economy was 4% of GDP. In Ukraine, IT and startups employ 150 thousand people. We will develop in this direction," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

Also, the Head of State got himself acquainted with the creative zone of the startup incubator.

"I understand that combating corruption is innovations and digital sphere. Our idea is to make “a state in a smartphone”. And now we are bringing together people with a mind like a steel trap, as you do, and we are working on this program," the President noted.

The Head of State expressed his conviction that such companies would also work in Ukraine.
