President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy notes that the visit of the Ukrainian delegation to the United States of America is extremely productive.
"The first day of our team's visit to the United States has passed. I want to thank everyone from both the Ukrainian and American parties. I believe that a substantive visit has been prepared. Difficult in terms of the number of meetings. But the most important thing is that it is not about quantity, it is about quality," the President said to the media in Washington.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that a substantive meeting with the US Secretary of Energy took place on Tuesday, August 31, and important documents were signed.
"We see that there will be a comprehensive investment in Ukraine's nuclear energy. This is the first important step. We were looking for an investment. We have support now," he stressed.
The President also noted that he saw the support of the US Department of Energy in the issue of Nord Stream 2 and threats to the energy security of Ukraine and Europe from this project.
