During a working trip to the Khmelnytskyi region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Khmelnytskyi Polytechnic College of Lviv Polytechnic National University.
Director of Khmelnytskyi Polytechnic College Vadym Ovcharuk praised and thanked the President for signing the law on vocational advanced education, which allows colleges to develop.
"Today we are ready to release a competitive specialist who will influence the development of Ukraine," he said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy examined the exhibition of developments and achievements of students and lecturers of the college. In particular, the improvement of computer systems, which allows to build any business process with the help of an automated control system, was shown to the President. They also showed a 3D printer that can create complex mechanisms at once.
In addition, students demonstrated a simulator to improve practical driving skills. Analogues cost 200 thousand hryvnias, and this one costs only 16 thousand hryvnias, according to the student-developer.
The Head of State also took part in the TV link-up "Students Unite Ukraine", during which students of the Mariupol Construction College were in contact with Khmelnytskyi.
In his introductory speech, the President stressed that he welcomes any unification of Ukrainians, as it guarantees our independence and sovereignty.
"You are at a great distance, but there is no more distance between you, I am sure of that. Both here and there people are the same. Equally young, equally beautiful, I see it even through masks, I see the same, very patriotic clothes," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The participants of the TV link-up from Mariupol also said that they dream of rebuilding Donbas together with students of Khmelnytskyi College in the future.
The Head of State asked Mariupol students whether they hear gunshots now or not. He was told that now, during the armistice, everything is calm in the city, which is 15 km from the delimitation line.
"I am very glad that there are no gunshots now," the President said.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy together with the participants of the TV link-up formed a symbolic remote bridge of unity and took a photo as a keepsake.
