The construction of roads included in the National Program "Great Construction" in the Sumy region continues and will be completed in due time, as stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
During a conversation with media representatives within a working trip to the Sumy region, the Head of State noted that about 160 km of state roads are being built in the region this year.
"All this is under control. The Head of the regional state administration reported that they will do it in time. I communicate with the Head of Ukravtodor every day. They report that we will have done all this by the end of the year," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
However, he noted, road construction in the Sumy region is slower than in other regions.
"This is due to the fact that many projects have been blocked at the level of the Antimonopoly Committee," the President said.
The Head of State is convinced that all the obstacles slowing down the pace of road construction will be removed.
At the same time, according to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the situation with the restoration of schools and kindergartens in the Sumy region is better.
